Endless 2 pieces
brake rotors
Recently the lap times of the Elise and Exige have
been improving at the circuit course; therefore braking
ability is starting to get important. When we did
time attacks at courses such as Fuji Circuit we would
some times develop cracks on the rotors and this
is not safe. Also a one piece rotor may easily warp
due to high heat. We tested stock rotors on our demo
car at the Fuji circuit and they warped. On the corners
the break pads were pushed back by a warped rotor
and caused pulsation and poor braking feel in the
brake pedal. The use of a 2piece floating system
is necessary. For this reason we teamed up with Endless
and developed this special rotor. We used a material
which works well with the BSK original brake pads.
Moreover, we machined both front and back to lighten
the weight. This helps with braking, cornering and
acceleration. The bell center hat is hard anodized
for strength and durability.
Comparison |
EBC Normal rotor weight |

Endless front rotor 294mm |
5.4kg (-600g) |
Endless rear rotor 288mm |
5.2kg (-800g) |
About brakes: Larger diameter brakes offer more
braking potential, however they are much heavier
and increase unsprung weight. We considered the best
option for the Elise and Exige and decided that light
weight rotors would be the best option for these
cars.
